Health Disclaimer
Last updated: June 16, 2026
Important: Please read this disclaimer carefully before starting any program on Ski Strong for Life.
1. Not Medical Advice
The training programs, workout plans, exercise descriptions, nutritional guidance, and all other content available on Ski Strong for Life ("the Service") are provided for informational and educational purposes only. This content is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition or before beginning any new exercise program. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read or seen on this Service.
2. Consult Your Doctor Before Starting
Before beginning any exercise program — including those on this Service — we strongly recommend consulting your physician, especially if you:
- Are over 45 years of age
- Have a history of heart disease, high blood pressure, or cardiovascular conditions
- Have joint, bone, or musculoskeletal conditions (including prior injuries or surgeries)
- Have diabetes or metabolic conditions
- Are pregnant or postpartum
- Have been sedentary or have not exercised regularly in the past year
- Are taking prescription medications that affect your heart rate or blood pressure
3. Assumption of Risk
Exercise and physical activity carry inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle soreness, joint strain, cardiovascular stress, and injury. By using the Service, you voluntarily assume these risks. You agree that Ski Fit Nation, LLC, its coaches, staff, and content contributors are not responsible for any injury, illness, or adverse outcome that arises from following any workout, program, or recommendation provided through the Service.
4. Coaches Are Not Licensed Medical Professionals
Coaches available through the Guided and Private membership tiers are strength and conditioning specialists. They are not licensed physicians, physical therapists, dietitians, or other licensed healthcare providers. Their feedback, recommendations, and program modifications are not medical advice and should not be treated as such.
5. Designed for Masters Athletes
Our programs are designed with the physiology and goals of masters athletes (ages 45–75) in mind. However, individual fitness levels, health conditions, and recovery capacity vary widely. What is appropriate for one person may not be appropriate for another. Listen to your body, and do not push through sharp pain, chest discomfort, shortness of breath, or dizziness. If you experience any of these symptoms, stop exercising immediately and seek medical attention.
6. Modify as Needed
The programs on this Service include recommended weights, sets, reps, and intensity levels. These are starting points — not prescriptions. Adjust loads and intensity to match your current fitness level and how you feel on any given day. Recovery is part of training. Rest when needed.
7. No Warranties
The Service and its content are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, expressed or implied. Ski Fit Nation, LLC makes no warranty that the programs or content are appropriate for any specific individual or will achieve any specific fitness outcome.
